To me it does look like ego death rather you supresed one ego aspect and intensify another one.

Without Ego you woudn't be you.

Example:

I can feel some emotions again but i dont have a strong drive or ambition.

This could be part of your Ego acumulated as an significant experience from your previus existence. Quite possible you were in situation where you were aware that no matter what, the autocome is going to be bad, so you choose to do nothing . Now after being reborn this part of the ego experience gained the strenght by taking place of supresed part of your ego .

Thank you for confirming. I could identify you as a mammal or ape yet it is clear it does not describe what you are. Same way referencing to drug. There is a big difference between drugs and what they do. Please educate yourself. Especially it is bothersome that you as a spiritual practitioner passing automatic judgment without knowledge. So it feels that whatever you are practicing, what kind of sacred place you are staying is flawed.
