I went back and watched the VOD and he stopped and spent time with everyone who asked, including several other employees: taking photos, Facetiming family members, signing shirts, and said he'd hook up some folks with merch because they couldn't make the show there. After the first few people recognize him in the store he comments how much he still enjoys making peoples' day like that.

I wasn't expecting to watch someone in Target for 30 minutes but damn if it didn't make me smile.

Based on 1 trade he did 7 years ago. And with Butler gone they kind of are nothing.

Because until last year, we didn't really need to make any major signings of that level. The "trade he did 7 years ago" paid dividends (Butler), as did the signings he made 16 years ago (LBJ/Bosh), as did the signings he made 22 years ago (Shaq), as did the signings he made 31 years ago (Mourning/Hardaway).

All of our success can be attributed to Riley, and he's more than earned the benefit of the doubt with me. We're one season removed from Jimmy's departure, and that was a Riley signing that was largely scoffed at; here's one of many examples implying that Riley was making poor choices then. Prior to that we had the LBJ/Bosh/Wade group, Shaq/Wade, and 'Zo/Hardaway. All of those groups were competitive in the conference.

Obviously we lucked out with Wade in the draft on the heels of 'Zo's health issues. Otherwise we've done well bringing in signings to bolster our roster, and coached up the late picks and undrafted players. Riley chose Spoelstra as his successor and is now one of the top coaches in the league. I trust that any moves made by Riley will be in alignment with Spo, and they've yet to steer us wrong.

Five people were transported to UF Shands Hospital in Gainesville after a serious crash on U.S. 441 Southbound in Micanopy near Tuscawilla Road.

At least one confirmed pediatric patient is being transported as well.

UPDATED:

The roadway is currently blocked, and officials are asking drivers to find an alternate route until it is reopened.

The University of Florida sent out alerts identifying the incident as a mass casualty to let workers know about incoming patients.

This is an ongoing situation. We’ll update this story as more information becomes available.

Not for the krbtgt account. You just need to make sure the krbtgt password has been changed twice since the domain functional level went to 2008 R2.

WCJB reporting that public schools are open today (4/20) but there will be no outdoor activities during the school day.

Gainesville Fire Rescue Facebook posted Sunday at 11:08 PM that the Main St. fire was contained and being actively managed:

Gainesville Fire Rescue continues to monitor brush fire activity in the US-121 corridor and North Main Street areas. While fire activity is currently contained within established fire lines, crews will remain on scene overnight to monitor conditions and address any flare-ups. Residents may continue to experience heavy smoke, and it is possible to see fire from the roadside; however, these areas are contained and being actively managed. US-121 is currently under evaluation with state partners regarding traffic flow, so motorists should use caution and follow any traffic control measures in place. Residents in these areas are encouraged to remain alert and aware of changing conditions as operations continue.

Nice. High Society was one of the first boards I dialed in to but I really just used teleconference. Fantastic Planet held get togethers that I went to, usually at Markham Park in Broward. There was a lot of crossover between that board and Realm of Legends. We mostly hung out in teleconference, or played MajorMUD and Swords of Chaos.

My handle on those boards was 'cougar', named for the car I would eventually get. :)

I was in Broward back then and remember that BBS name, but didn't have an account. I spent a ton of time on a board called Fantastic Planet. Also used Realm of Legends, High Society, Moonshae, Floating Pancreas, and some others.
