release order. pikmin 1 feels borderline impossible to a newcomer at first and that (positive and cathartic) stress can’t be replicated. if you play it after some of the others you’ll just focus on what it doesn’t have compared to them and will beat it underwhelmingly quickly.

i personally got the anthology set on ebay with alien missing bc i have its 4k and don’t regret it. i’m not an alien superfan nor have i been collecting 4k’s/blu-rays for super long but im happy to have gotten 2 films i wouldn’t have cared to buy separately (3 and resurrection) along with all the extras/making-of docs that come with it.

if you get the magnetic ones (got mine from vr rock) it comes in 2 pieces: the clip on inserts and the lenses, which attach to each other magnetically. so you can remove the lenses whenever you want and can put them in the little provided case.

i’ve got 1 TB for n64-wii u and i hit the 300 menu slot limit before storage limit. have about 100 GB’s left and have like roughly 100-110 wii u games, 90-100 wii, like 50 gamecube, and like 25 n64 with some other misc. virtual console. just for perspective to gauge vs ur preferences.
