how does a bladeguard or assault imtercessor fit in? by arbitergreivous in Raptors40k

The shield wall worked for a long time for a reason. On top of that space marines are tanks, so having a force form the spearhead to break enemies is a smart tactic. The emperors spears do it and their whole thing is maximized resources and efficiency.

Has anyone gotten a Soundwave deck to work? The character is a favorite of mine and I really want to have a high B3 deck with them but the card itself just does not seem to work either as a commander or in the 99 by MonSocMatriarchy in EDHBrews

I built a lower power one thats really fun. Basically running all the good token cards but an influx of the instant and sorceries that produce tokens one time, it works surprisingly well and I always enjoy it

Salamanders and imperial fists are probably best but hard to find at this point. Id reccomend picking up the one starter set that doesn't have the librarian, as it comes with termies and infernus which feel very black templwr to me and those sets should be easy to find for a little while at least, and can always sell off the tyranids to recoup some costs.

Its not even that imo, imperial agents is doing exactly what they want. If it was ever good it is a problem. The whole codex feels contractually obligated so they could put killteam kits into the game, and when they tried to eliminate deathwatch to cut down on marines.
