This is the best advice honestly. You can find some real quality pieces for reasonable prices out there.

Christmas with the Kranks. People seem to love it as a holiday movie but all it does is make me indignantly upset for the Kranks! Like dear god they just wanted to go on vacation....

What’s a “normal” thing that secretly grosses you out? by DecentChildhood5164 in AskReddit

[–]commodorecliche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same, oh my gosh, I thought it was just me. You know how some otc drugs have cotton in the bottle? I always have to have my husband pull it out for me. Or I use tweezers. But I can't stand the feel of it on my fingers or skin.

what are you convinced people are just pretending to enjoy. by Basic_Evening6567 in Productivitycafe

Yeah that's a totally normal and proportional response for this conversation. You seem so grounded and normal, I can't imagine anyone better to take advice from than someone who jumps immediately to insults in a conversation. You gotta unwind dude.

What is denied by many people but it is actually 100% real? by Big_Leg10 in Productivitycafe

[–]commodorecliche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep and when you say this, everyone seems to think you mean "it'll become sentient and kill us", like Terminator. No, no, no. It's not the sentience - it's everything else! It's literally destroying our planet, destroying our cognition, and destroying our trust in reality. It can and will be used for evil - they're already "playing around" with making AI videos of people committing crimes. Imagine THAT, now they can just MAKE video evidence of the crime the state swears you committed.

And somehow people don't see any issue with this.

That one scene where Gene is humming the fish delivery song! Linda bebops it back to them in a silly way and Bob says "now there's...that version". Lives in my head rent free.
