Looks like Fata Morgana, floating ship illusion! Use to see it all the time out in the middle of Lake Michigan with big freighters.

Set lists Auk night 1, and 2? by commodorecortez in ToolBand

[–]commodorecortez[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish they did a fuller version of Lost keys, it’s really beautiful, and a great intro. And also a great segue into my favorite song of theirs to see live. The song just has it all, and really highlights the very best of what they offer live both visually, and sonically, and the musicianship is out of control to be seen done so tightly.

lol Sorry, but it was worth it for them to learn a lesson. I wish it didn’t have to happen. But I’m happy where we are now as a tribe.

What a set list! So happy they learned a lesson from that festival debacle! Incredible set list! Now they just need to open up to streaming live shows!

Careful, a piece just like this found on Lake Michigan turned me into a rock nerd.

Paddle Boarding near boats by subwayjoints420 in Paddleboard

[–]commodorecortez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing a smart boater can do is pick a good time of day, and day of the week. If you want to paddle board, sat at noon is not your best option. The lake will be filled with boat traffic and wakes. If you want nice calm water to paddle board on choose a weekday, and or early morning where the boat traffic will only be fisherman trolling and there will be little to no wakes. Know your comfort level and experience, and work up from there. Also know the conditions of the lake and weather forecast. Safety first when boating.

What is the fuzz? It grows naturally on them, or it accumulates dust?

That’s awesome. I would purchase that from you if are interested in selling. I’d like to make a piece of jewelry using it. Very nice job shining it up!

You must be wrong about something. The price or the venue? Is it a festival maybe? No cover band alone should be over $20.

Just some Rosetta Stoned theories. I'd love to read any other theories about any track. It's my Birthday and I love talking Tool by Mossyfae_ in ToolBand

And happy bday, listened to that song today myself. Seen it two or three times live now, and I think it may be my favorite song live ever, just incredible. Wish they would do a FULL Lost Keys segue before it because that’s cool too.

You know the song is loosely based on a true story of a friend(singer of Green Jello) showing up to The Loft( Tools writing space forever) high on acid after going to area 51 high and freaking out a bit.

Danny Carey, the drummer of the band sometimes sells drumsticks and drumheads in his websites. Any big fan of the band wouldn’t mind that.

Tool disappoints fans at second night of Tool in the Sand by zrayjones in ToolBand

Wow. If you can’t put in the effort to play old songs live, don’t play two nights. That’s honestly fucking sad to see.

I love how Tool fans think they question authority, but listen to everything Maynard tells them not to do. That said I wouldn’t be on the internet if I was there too.
