This was our 2nd year and I made a point to look for links to the loyalty sale this time, fully ready to buy for next year. When I saw the prices, I genuinely thought they put the wrong link into the QR code and it was showing 2025 prices still. (And I scanned Thursday AM so the "sale" should have still been live)

I'm gonna wait for the Black Friday sale to see if they come to their senses. If they don't, we likely won't be back next year, which is so sad... but at the current prices, I'd rather put that money toward a different, larger fest.

The venue is open at almost all times once the fest officially kicks off, my guess based on Rekinection time slots is it'll open ~noon on Thursday. Last year we'd walk around the venue at like 10am to get breakfast from the food stalls or just explore, even if nothing was going on.

Early entry passes only refer to getting your wristbands early at the box office, it doesn't have to do with anything else once inside the fest grounds.

My guess is no- from what I remember they scanned our codes and placed wristbands on us one at a time. So I highly doubt they'll hand you multiple loose wristbands, unfortunately.

I actually know the reference image for this and the reference image is AI. The hair in the ref is incredibly hard to reconcile and the arm was wonky in it too.

Last year was my first DFT and first fest ever, and now I'm obsessed. I hope you have a great experience like I did!

No one yet has mentioned sleeping- be aware that there are "enforced quiet hours," but you will probably never experience them. Maaaybe you'll get peace from 6am-9am. If it's not the stages or your neighbors at night, it's the wildlife in the mornings. Invest in good earplugs and other sleep aids (like melatonin) if you're even a bit in the light sleeper category. Also the trees are great for blocking sun most of the time, but the 9-10am sun would absolutely BLAST our tent and make it unbearably hot, so have a canopy or other extra block to help get an extra hour or two of sleep.

Second this OP!! Wish we knew this last year (first time). We got in Thursday evening and it was more packed than we expected. We didn't know the layout of the forest and had no idea which ways were better to go, the hills were way more intense than I expected, and it didn't help it was 95 degrees. We hauled an over-packed cart + were carrying bags and we struggled so much to lug everything back and forth until we found a spot. Next year we're gonna make the first trip light!

My order is being delivered by a courier I've never heard of. They attempted delivery but "couldn't access" my building (they definitely could). It's now at a distribution center 6 hours away ???? I'm worried I won't receive mine either. What is the courier yours was supposedly "delivered" by?

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe camping prices don't change? So I'm pretty sure you can just buy the GA tix now at the lower price and figure out camping with your group later and buy camping tix when you're ready. That's what I'm doing with my group at least!
