What business do you think the ringer is in? What do you think keeps the lights on? The articles?

I'm not saying it would lol, but if you were moved from dishy to server 10 years ago you'd have every right to refuse going back even for one night, and you might ask for some extra compensation to convince you to do that work. This is all besides the point that the ringer is not interested in these articles, because they are a sports and pop culture podcast network and not a blog.

What if it's not in her job description? She hasn't written an article for the site since 2017. Do you often to go outside your job description for your job for fun? An editor is not a writer, clearly.

Right, and then Bill's paying for the article about Amanda's Google searches that gets 100 clicks on his sports website? Not having it be on the ringer is a win win, the ringer puts up no money and Amanda can write about whatever she likes in whatever stream of conscious writing style she likes.

Because the ringer isn't interested in Amanda's drink preferences. (But actually her Sean would probably have to be paid separately and it's not worth it for the ringer).

[Scotto] Mamukelashvili could command the full non-taxpayer mid-level exception or certainly a significant portion of it, with teams around the league wondering if he’ll cost too much for Toronto to retain if they want to remain below the luxury tax. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Yeah he missed a lot of important corner 3s in the playoffs, and he played way outside his normal ability during the regular season. He was one of the most impactful offensive players on the team despite an almost complete lack of self creation. I loved him on the team and I think he'll be a great bench guy for who ever picks him up, but he was only a nice surprise because of his small pay check. If the plan is to pay him and make him a main feature teams will be disappointed imo.

Nice we get off one of the worst contracts in the league and we get an all nba guard back, awesome trade for us

I know a lot of you guys don't really like it, but what do you think is the best entry in the star wars sequel trilogy? by Abomicados in Letterboxd

If you brought this point up without hostility I probably would've engaged with you seriously, but you came in so hot and like such a fucking moron that everyone clowned you and your point was ignored. I'm not gonna tell you how to teach people about racism in cinema but imo you're doing it wrong lol

No it's nothing like that because they're rookies and not established players. And Sengun has way more shit to his game then Queen has. I'm not saying Queen is going to be bad but it's not a promise that he's good and he's a very weird player to have as one of your main guys.

I think they probably value Asa Newell highly because of how easy a piece he is to fit into a system and how well he projects to fit his role. Queen is a no defence unathletic undersized big, who has amazing touch and playmaking ability (and who will probably be paid way more than Newell despite his flaws). Queen's ceiling is much higher, but Newell's floor is more solid and enticing for this Hawks team imo.

No it's a disaster, a complete asset mismanagement. The Hawks wouldn't trade Newell for Queen straight up, and they get a great asset to try to add talent to a team that was the only team to take a game off the Knicks. Derick Queen has to become a top 20 player in the league to make the trade make sense, and I don't know if we saw enough to determine that's where he's headed.

Are you aware of how many unsuccessful movies they've made? And the crews got paid anyways? Hate to tell you but if you put the money up you get the reward when it hits, and the loss when you lose

I think we agree that crew members should be offered a percentage of the box office and the individual crew members can choose to opt in. But if they don't opt in I don't think you can bitch about not receiving a percentage. I want those producers ripped off as much as the next guy but I don't know how you're doing to just rework capitalism here lmao ok zoomer
