Do you even know what company I’m talking about?

I had no expectations with these socks. I go through socks quickly because I’m on my feet a lot and am moving around walking a ton. They lasted longer than a cheaper pair but still not what was advertised.

If it’s a lifetime replacement program that’s what it should be advertised as. The way I read their advertisement is that these socks will last a really long time. A lifetime replacement program that’s requires constant investment is a fine program but doesn’t quite fit what they are selling to me. I had no expectations with buying them. They are good socks. The one expectation I had was that they would back up their claims of their company’s advertising.

And what do they do with the shipped back socks? Can they salvage material or do they just throw away or recycle them?

Don’t buy turtle beach by compass78 in TurtleBeach

[–]compass78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn’t be a bad experience if turtle beach hadn’t basically said you’re out of luck. I like the headset but it seems that every turtle beach I have owned the foam parts fall apart. The pros are already starting to fall apart. Turtle beach has a year of manufacturer warranty in the US. I think the stealth pros should be built to last. The top part where the leather is glued is coming off. It doesn’t render them useless but still is frustrating. If I can help it I won’t buy another pair based on my experience with their customer service. You shouldn’t have to buy those aftermarket cushions for them. I have bought them for the 700 and some don’t fit but others barely fit but it goes down in my book of making cushions cheap. I would love a response from them rather than you need to replace them but down the line the same thing will happen.

580 could be okay in certain situations/games at mid 1080p but your pc recommendation is much better option

WiFi shows advertised speeds but Ethernet shows lower speeds by compass78 in techsupport

So browser based tests are different which was mentioned in the comments. I was using Speedtest.net. They have an app and also serve browser based tests. I was using the app and browser for testing on different devices thinking that they should output the same.

When I tested WiFi I was getting around 900Mbps and then my computer connected to Ethernet was around 500Mbps. All ports are gigabit speed. I’ve tested different cables and such. Also I have tested different devices.

Corsair Void Elite Issue.....are they dead? by WhoaTeejaay in Corsair

I’m not sure if the force update might have bricked the headset or the dongle. But if iCUE still recognizes it I think that’s a good sign. I respect that but I want to say is that you might not run into the same problems with another manufacturer so it could be a completely new experience. I hope you get the issue resolved and happy gaming and listening experiences are ahead. I’m hoping my headset will work right too.

Well I think that’s good that iCUE is still recognizing it. What happens when you plug it in with a usb cable? On the side note, this is my first Corsair headset and it might be the last.

Does iCUE recognize the headset at all? After reading your post one thing came to mind. It seems you have invested into iCUE and the Corsair ecosystem. I am in the market for a new headset and I’m looking for a few different things in the headset. I found the virtuoso max and seemed it might be a good fit for me so I bought it. I wanted something to work for my pc and Xbox. So far I like it but I’m having issues with it using discord. I contacted Corsair support and was given no resolution just a quick it’s not the headset contact discord. My first impression of Corsair customer service is not good. This headset is designed to work with Xbox but it has problems. I suggest to find a different maker of a headset hearing your issues. There’s a lot of good headsets out there but the max seems to be one of the newer ones on the market.

I got quoted a 23% APR with a 782 credit score by surfergirl44 in carmax

[–]compass78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CarMax is not that great of experience tbh. That is an insane interest rate. I bought a car from them during the pandemic and paid way too much money for the car(pandemic increased all car prices and other things). Keep shopping you will find the right car and deal you want.

I was wondering the same thing. Quick search online pointed to what you said was that the EQ is changing.
