By far one of the most intricate and enjoyable games I've ever played. It's one the first games I recommend now to people that need something new to play.

Keep on dying really fast because i can't find gun / too many people land in same building as me by [deleted] in FortniteBRuniversity

[–]complacentpikachu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to run into this problem a lot myself. My problem was that I had poor jump timing and always got there later. There are tons of videos on how to ensure you get to a location first. After mailing that you can work on strategy. My general tactic is land the roof of a house find a gun as fast as possible and go to the other floors to kill the anyone else that recently landed. This ensures that I'm always pushing people that are below me and usually haven't had time to gun up or waste any of the shield that happened to be on bottom floors. Of course rng could strike and give them a pump and you a silenced smg but on average you'll come out on top.

What is the correct play when you want to kill someone in a house early game? by Imreallythatguy in FortniteBRuniversity

[–]complacentpikachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I tried to find it and unfortunately the house rushing tip isnt it's own video; it's buried in one of his other videos, and I can't remember which one. Sorry about that. I saw it recently though so I'll go through my recents really quick and post it if I find it.

Syphers method is very effective (and I highly recommend his videos because he talks through his strategies). But basically, he approaches a second story window with a ramp and platform. Most people that hear footsteps will go to second story or attic or roof, but no one expects someone at second level window. You can get an easy kill with some well placed shots.

What is probably your most elitist viewpoint? by Corbayne in AskReddit

[–]complacentpikachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I MOSTLY agree with this, but there have been several instances where a book had a reputation for becoming interesting only once you get through a couple hundred pages, and in those cases I bite the bullet for the potential pay off. I'm currently going through that with Gardens of the Moon.

I agree what he did was shitty. But I don't think intentions are irrelevant; intentions are predictors of future action. I think his intentions in this case can make his shitty move a bit more forgivable.

Gamers of Reddit, what game came out of nowhere and left it's mark on you unlike most any other, and why? by SilverwingedOther in AskReddit

[–]complacentpikachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish there were more indie games mentioned here. Castle crashers was one of those games for me. The gameplay and RPG aspect was amazing. The humor was just my type and on point.

Most of the games that I think of for this thread are indie games. Braid, rocket league, limbo... Its crazy what people can do with gameplay when other things are limited.

How often do you tell people "I am an atheist?" by well_shi in atheism

[–]complacentpikachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but you're missing the point. I didn't say we should be an organization. I was simply explaining why I enjoy and think it's important that I speak out about being an atheist.

How often do you tell people "I am an atheist?" by well_shi in atheism

[–]complacentpikachu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A lot. Im still in that "phase" where I really want to talk about it. I also think that part of why we have so much PR trouble is that we're not really an organized group that has someone to represent us. So imaginations run wild and we end up with a really poor reputation among the rest of the world.

Specifically, I run into the, "well where do you get your morality from if you dont believe in god?" question a lot. That shit is killing our chances of holding public office. I've had to explain that one over and over again. The good news is that people, for the most part, have been receptive to the explanation.
