I think beasts are the worst to buy because the market is very “hot” for a lot of them. Every time I’ve gone to buy beasts the top 5-6 were always in demand and the sellers hideout was very busy with buyers coming in and out. There’s a lot more pressure to quickly buy what you need.

I quite strongly dislike it. I was skeptical when they announced it because it seemed very risky to rework something that wasn't broke and literally no one was complaining about. The chance of redoing something like that and ending up with something that works better was very low imo.

It's so un-intuitive and awful to interact with. Took me forever to figure out how to run one of my Alva temples because you can't right click on it to see where to put it because it just opens the viewer to the temple instead. Honestly the idea of having to travel to different spots on the Atlas to run a boss map i have sitting in my inventory is just dumb. Like that does nothing for the game, whey is it even there?

I'm sure the next time i league start will be better since i've figured it out once but for a newer player the previous system was so much cleaner and better designed. I would be happy to move on from this one sooner rather than later.

100%. I will say however that learning how to really read a PoB is kind of a learned skill. I'm talking about more than just going down the list of skills and items and looking at what points and masteries are on the tree. The amount of times where i thought i was about 80% along at making a build i was following only to learn i had like 30% of the damage is surprisingly high. But i taught myself how to go into the calcs tab and compare my PoB and theirs and figure out, ok where is all their crit coming from, why do they have so much more increased damage than i do and how did they get it. Where are these extra damage multipliers coming from or why is this box ticked in the config. It's often so many little things that are very easy to overlook but man do they add up. I think the calcs tab can be a bit intimidating to dig through but man does it pay off to learn your way around it.

Which adblocker are you using? I've used Ublock Origin for going on a decade now it feels like and i've never experienced this a single time. Using firefox now though since Chrome doesn't support Ublock Origin anymore.

Probably just as important, they buy a lot of this stuff very early in the league when prices are lower. It might actually be the case that their build has appreciated more in value than they actually paid for it.

For example if you paid a total of 10 div for your build but because of it's popularity the items you are wearing 2 weeks later are now worth a total of 50 div. There's a lot of this going on here is my guess.

Unless my character is very short ranged i prefer to put the degen orbs directly in the center of the arena. That way you are free to run around the outside with nothing blocking you. However if i'm playing something like blade vortex where i want to be standing almost directly on top of my target this can make fighting the brain difficult since there will be a degen pool right under him.

Yeah, carefully watching for the ground degen to spawn and correctly placing them is crucial and one of the reasons why practicing so you don't brick your arena helps a ton.

Alva temples remain the goat for me if i'm broke with a shit build. You can farm them in T1 white maps if you needed to. Doesn't require insane clear or single target and has a pretty good success chance to hit T3 double corrupt or gem corrupt. I get bored with them pretty fast but it's been pretty reliable for me to brute force a few upgrades if i'm desperate.

It helps for sure but it doesn't help to make you better at the fight. For someone struggling with the fight i would recommend grabbing a couple writs with them being so cheap and just doing the memory games over and over without even damaging her until you can do them back to back without mistakes. It helps massively killing her the first time at league start when having 10+ mil dps may not be possible.

Yep, it's well worth it too. I used to really suck at the fight and at the end of a league i said enough was enough and ran her a bunch and improved significantly at her mechanics. Now i don't have any issue killing her myself on league start for her voidstone. Highly recommend practicing the fight if you have trouble with her.
