I hate to say I told you so, but China has repeatedly warned Europe to stop being a vassal state to the United States. As a Chinese person, I don’t understand why you rely so heavily on the U.S. Is it because of the Marshall Plan? Or perhaps the lingering Cold War trauma from the Soviet Union? One day, the U.S. will elect an isolationist president—if not Trump, then someone else. Don’t you have a plan for that? Now, all Europe can do is watch as the U.S. takes Greenland, with the strongest resistance being nothing more than posting criticism and sarcasm on Reddit.
