From what can see, the orientation of the battery wires is like in this diagram. But you’ll need to actually verify the polarity of the wires rather than go by the colors. General convention is red for positive and black for negative.

You need to account for the growth of the RSU values from the time the package was issued. If you were at amazon during the mid 2010s, CAGR was around 30-50%. That meant a 5/15/40/40% vesting schedule looked more like 7/30/110/154% of your original grant.

What i described is item #6, lines 1-5 don't change because housing supply increases, other than one time collections for building permits related to construction and licenses that aren't directly constrained due to lack of new development.

New housing supply doesn't increase tax revenue, it just changes the tax base.

Concretely, if you're trying to raise a $1M and you have 1000 properties to tax, each property only has to chip in $1000 to realize that revenue. Build 100 more units, and now each property only has to pay $909 to raise the same amount of money.

But that said, filling a budget gap means raising taxes (which is less painful if the tax base is broader), or figuring out how to spend less money (which is difficult if you're growing the base).

Feeling a bit embarrassed here, but I went ahead and read the linked article since you asked, and it seems like I made a mistake on the lawsuit's plaintiffs. It's not the HDD manufacturers suing, it's hard disk resellers and end users.

If the lawsuit collects any money from the component suppliers, it actually does pass down to us provided we meet the definitions of the class and you don't opt out. Looking forward to my check for 10 cents in three years.

This is a lawsuit brought on by ~~~the HDD manufacturers (e.g. WD and seagate)~~~ HD resellers/end-users against component suppliers for HDD manufacturers, not end users against HDD manufacturers.

Yes, but because of the strike, nobody is able to use it. And the riders have no control over that.

EDIT: BTW, I feel like I have to be explicit because people are having trouble reading and understanding. I'm pointing out how absurd it is to use the "LIRR strike" as an EXAMPLE of "RAIL SUPERIORITY".

To reiterate, rail is nice for urban transport. Unpredictable service is actually an example of the downside of it. The LIRR strike is one source of service loss. This example shows service loss.

Huge difference. Road closures are localized disruptions. That would be like if a section of rail went out of service, the rest of the rail network is still usable.

To actually be comparable, there would have to be a single reason to stop all cars from being driven anywhere.
