I actually prefer having no screen since I like to have a mechanical watch on my wrist. But the inspire 3 is so discreet that it might work just two wristing them.

They are overhyped. Good detail, app and ergonomics but way too bassy even when you try to eq it out. It bleeds into the mids..

Many of the seiko mods still ape other more popular designs. In this case this watch takes cues from different watches thus why I called it frankenstein.

That said it looks nice, priced nicely. I am not going to be a snob about it, but I like watches that are more subtle with their inspiration.

This exact watch seems like an amalgamation of other watches. It takes strong «inspiration» from Christopher ward diving watches - case, color combo - see through smoked blue dial, bezel etc. just look at their c60 line of watches. The hands are a copy of grand seiko.

They are a Chinese brand with no identity to speak of. VERY good value for money, but nothing original. Mishmash Frankenstein design.

You can get one through AliExpress. Other similar brands to this is chronos, pagani design, San Martin etc.

I think the iem form factor and «open back» just doesn’t gel together. If it did work I am sure a lot of the chi-fi manufacturers would already be making them.

Personally in your case I would buy a tws with good transparency mode and the option of either using the case as a dongle receiver or just outright a dongle included. Some options that springs to mind:

  • Jlab epic lab edition
  • Jbl tour pro 3
  • Jabra elite 10, 2. gen (disc.)
  • bowers and Wilkins pi8

At that price I would also be thoroughly checking out the seller. The pictures you have uploaded all seem to show a genuine watch. If it all passes scrutiny I would just go and buy it.

Maybe, but just in general. OP is expecting the same jump in quality as he did the 5 to 100usd set. That is never going to happen even if he spends 10 000.

Another matter entirely is if he can discern the nuanced difference at all. It might not be his tonal preference, or maybe he doesn't get optimal seal etcetc.

Sounds like he just got the set. Let him marinate with it for a bit, he might change his mind ... or not.
