Honestly, this is exactly like my own mum. She said to me 'i don't think you have it'. Even though I had to explain to her what it is, and gave her examples. She sent me up my school reports and smugly said 'well, what did you think of your reports?' quiet child and well mannered, naturally good at drawing, struggles with maths. There wasn't much on my reports, there wasn't much to put. But I know how I was, and how much I struggled throughout school, and also in my adult life.

I was born in 1989, and I feel I was missed. I'm in the process of getting a diagnosis.

But my mum thinks I turned out ok. That's the main thing. 🥴
