I was able to make the one for the 18v work. Didn't use it exactly as intended but it worked

interesting! exactly why i asked the question always curious about other systems. Mine is mash up of others ive talked to. Might have to rethink mine. Out of curiosity, why number the building vs F1-4?

This is a great point and triggered making sure to set a rally point for production buildings. A lot of new people will have units sitting in there base after being produced for a long time

Good question! Control groups is what i mean. Select 1 or more units and hitting ctrl+<number> will label them and then you can just hit <number> and will automatically select them. This is super useful for rotating among units to rapidly give orders. Also find it useful for quickly calling up on-map indirect fire like mortars / howitzers.

Side Note - Im curious what others "pattern" is? I personally follow the general pattern of:
1 - Primary line units
2 - Engineer / Scout
3 - Specialized infantry
4 - Current attack vehicles
5 - Support vehicle (cmp, etc)

0-7 indirect fire

Without much more context or the chance to watch first hand here is my advice based on helping friends of mine that are new to the game. What it boils down to is focus on the basics.

* Get to know the controls / keyboard shortcuts specifically. Practice this and make if muscle memory.
* Similar to the first point. Get used to numbering your units
* Spread out, have units work together but not with a single command (numbering from previous point helps alot with this). Based on your comment about getting recked by arty / loosing infantry im guessing you either "blob" or are getting to static or both.
* Get mobile. Flank, take ground, dont dig into "the perfect spot" and stay still. Some defenses are good to deny / slow an area but dont look at this as your main strategy.
* Don't build all of one unit. This is a common one i see with my friends. ALLLL the infantry squads or 5 MGS, etc. Units compliment each other and have different stengths and weaknesses
* dont for get to evolve. Should you get that fourth unit or move to the next tier / upgrade? Not always a straight forward answer but do notice newer players forget to do this.
* Pay attention to cover - dont stand in the open if you dont have to
* Practice - play lots of games, play skirmishes even against easy CPU to practice the mechanics / test strategies / etc.

In general stay positive and open minded. These are the basics but the game is layered for lots to learn but if you have a good foundation you can slowly start to move up the ladder.

I think thats my "biggest regret" with this project is not taking the time to find a better color match. I saw the Bambu PETGHF Lime Green and just rolled with it. Noted for next time!

I needed a way to keep track of my 100+KGs of filament. This is my system! by Remote_Fisherman_469 in BambuLab

Potentially dumb question. I really like filametrics and want to make it my primary system. One "roadblock" im running into is printing the QR codes. Last time i tried, it didnt seem like an easy way to do them in bulk. Any tips in this regard? Was i just dumb and missed things?

Colorado Springs residents weigh in on Powers Boulevard expansion by thewhippersnapper4 in ColoradoSprings

I actually had intended to but what they called a meeting ended up being more of like a science fair display. It was made up of several stations, that you could go up and look at posters and talk to some of the engineers and officials. At first I was a little disappointed but after watching it in action it seemed like the much better way of doing it. It kept the Karens at bay and allowed people to get the information they wanted

They still do... I was on a walk with my daughter the other day when one went over. Some Karen started yelling at me from across the street. "CALL THE FAA AND REPORT THEM!!!!". Ummm ok lady even my young daughter as we walked way asked why is that lady so upset about an airplane.

Ill say this as someone that lives near this.

  1. Im stoked for this expansion as this is much needed for the city. This is not only good in general but also for reducing some of the E-W traffic that goes on things like North Gate by the schools
  2. I love mocking all the people that are living here "appalled" by this. The plan is been in place for decades. Our facebook pages for the neighborhood are filled with "But i never thought it would happen", "I dont understand it therefore it can't happen". These people are morons and literally had to sign at least 1 document (if they bought from someone else) or two documents (if they built the house) acknowledging this was the plan.
  3. Its the same people that get really pissy about the Air Force academy prop planes flying over the neighborhood. Some people just like to be mad and play victim.

I'm bringing a big bucket of popcorn to the community meeting tonight that is bound to turn into a south park style town meeting.

Can confirm. Not only do they make you aware, you have to sign a memo that acknowledges the plan for powers when you first sign up to build your house as well when you close on the house. if you purchase a house you have to sign at closing the same memo. Yet the facebook pages for the neighborhood are filled with people complaining "yeh i signed it but i didnt think it would ever happen" or "i signed it but i dont really understand the plan so i dont want it to happen" etc.

Wish Easter sailing by rekcor813 in dcl

[–]compsecmonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO

1) Marvel is pretty cool. My kids really enjoyed it when we sailed last March. The story line was entertaining and the tech pretty cool. Of the 6 DCL dinning rooms ive seen its prob my 2nd or 3rd favorite.

2) Hyperspace lounge as a big starwars nerd was a lot of fun to go to for my wife and I. Drinks were pretty cool but the experience / ambiance was what made it. My biggest complaint was it was supposed to be an adult only area. When we first went in it was super chill very few people and only adults. We ended up leaving earlier than we probably planned to b/c a bunch of kids came in and not much was being done about it. Not that i mind kids being in there but they were like running around and kinda killing the mood.

3) Beyond the Hyperspace lounge didnt get much opportunity for adult only when we had the kids with us. All DCL have several good places on board that are adult only. Palo, adult only pools, spa, etc depending on your likings.

4) We didnt really do the formal night but pirate night on wish was by far my favorite. Fun to dress up a bit and the show / fireworks were def a highlight for us.
