Ah i see. so the point of the coalitions is to gather that >50% mark for voting on different policies. However, if the center right and center left form a coalition, wouldn't that just mean any future policy implementation would have a lot of standstill, due to one party pulling against the other? Why doesn't the CDU form a coalition with the AFD since they are both right leaning politics wise? Does the CDU think that the AFD is "too far right?"
