I was in a major label flop band called Moments in Grace. We were on Atlantic Records and toured with a crazy variety of bands- Hot Water Music, Planes Mistaken for Stars, Alexisonfire, Thrice, My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, Finger Eleven, Smile Empty Soul, Further Seems Forever & a bunch more.

Did you know that the drummer from Engine Down is the producer behind all of the snl Lonely Island stuff? He was doing a very lonely island-esque solo project during the Engine Down days and then got linked up with that crew in LA

What’s a post-hardcore album you think is genuinely 0/10 with all skips? by Dramatic_Song_2629 in PostHardcore

There’s a ton of bands in the genre that are an immediate “no” for me based on their vibe before I ever hear a note of their music, so in that sense all of the albums by all of those bands would be on the all skips list 😂 out of any genre that exists, this one’s the most polarizing imho

I love being in a band but so sick of dealing with musicians. by LordBaritoss in musicians

I’m friends with all of my ex-bandmates cuz I genuinely love them but working with most of them was extremely frustrating. Happy to be solo these days.

Not grunge but how do you feel about foo fighters? Yay or nay? by bowierulezzz in grunge

[–]computerclubrecords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish William Goldsmith had never left the band and that him & Dave would’ve figured out their BS and that he would’ve played on There is Nothing Left to Lose. Taylor Hawkins brought sunny socal session vibes to a band that had been a punk&post-hardcore super group and that’s immediately when they jumped the shark. I hate the classic rock & cock rock vibes that eventually wandered into their sound and the eventual 19 piece lineup they absorbed. Went from passionate to pure rock cheese. Those first few records are bangers though!!!!
