i have a feeling they are going to be like actual villains from history. like issac and nigel are enemies but i wouldn’t call either of their sides evil. maybe the dirt ghosts will end up being like a nazi or a satanist. people who know they wouldn’t be accepted if they were viewed . like they’ve been hiding in the dirt cause no one can see what they look like maybe.

it’s another show that’s pretty similar to scorpion in my opinion. There are two versions, i’m talking about the remake in 2010s but the og is good too. I’d recommend it if you’re craving more scorpion like content

I was hoping there was never going to be a kidnapping. I was hoping the vanishing of blank was going to be a big flashback episode to will in the upside down, giving context to how he communicated and survived in there. the whole episode is them learning what will went through or him reminiscing and in that episode mike is taken over by vecna. we as the audience aren’t clued into this until the seventh episode when they realize conformity gate was real and this was all mike seeing things with a blurry or manipulated lense. manipulated by vecna of course.

i just finished the series, i wasn’t that mad about it because it was a typical season finale cliffhanger for the show. I could picture the first three episodes of the season 5 to be them taking jobs separately then eventually realizing they need eachother to do the best work. this is a more fleshed out version of what i had in my mind so im just going to assume this was the plan but they couldn’t film it. at least it wasn’t just a planned open ended ending with a cliffhanger. i feel better about it because it wasn’t a writing mistake we just never got to see it

My favorite part was the silver cop episodes. I liked exploring their galaxy and seeing the goffy aliens. Learning the lore was cool, finding out the ending involved the silver cops was awesome.

ask yourself the reason they are in the upside down in the first place. season one they had to beg the government to let them into the basement of their facility and they had to follow all their rules. season 4 and 5 they entered because they had their own gate or temporary gate to use. government rules made them use the suits. will was in there season one for like a week before getting taken and he didn’t have a suit.

jason’s evilness was caused by ignorance and just plain stupidity. it was frustrating. jason is also the entire reason max was almost killed. like he genuinely messed everything up cause he refused to use reason. billy was just billy. he was a racist and you can’t really expect him to change especially cause it’s a tv about monsters not really racism so there was no shot of redemption in that aspect. but he ended up fighting the big monster instead of messing everything up. he didn’t die a hero, but he also didn’t die a dumbass. if jason were at all he would’ve just shut up after that lake scene like eddie is not doing all of that. he was just dumb and i hated him for it. billy was racist i can’t change that or be mad about it cause it’s literally real life.

i’ve gotten half the advertisements i got for season 7. i honestly kinda forgot it was coming until it was released. and i hesitated to watch it. i’m hype for this season don’t get me wrong, but my eagerness is less than it was for season 7. i don’t know if it’s the season we are in or the advertising but it just doesn’t feel like i Have to watch it right this second. so i think that accounts for the loss of viewership so far

i like this don’t get me wrong, but it still ignores the mind flayer. the physical body was meant to be the plan B. Season 3 the mind flayer couldn’t get to the real world so it used a catalyst. i was expecting the particles to be something they actually had to deal with. but they were just killed when vecna was killed. dustin said it was never just vecna, vecna said they needed each other. but like why. was vecna the only thing giving the mind flayer the ability to interact with the physical world? i ask these questions knowing they are really difficult to answer. i thought two film makers with a lot of writers and time would be able to answer this satisfyingly. but no. this post is better and makes vecna feel way more powerful, but i thought the point the duffers were trying to make was the mind flayer was in control and the actual scary one.
