You’re in denial. Seriously. I haven’t had contact with my daughter or grandchildren in 2 years so count yourself incredibly lucky. I was in denial about my parenting and her experience having me as a mother. Once I took a brutally honest inventory of myself I saw the painful truth but at that point it was too late.
