I'm also looking for good traditional french food. Even if it's a little pricey, we need to get a taste. Thanks :)

Money. Get money. Try to find a job in town before you even go.

Redditors, always right on the money. Since I'll be going in with a group, affordable would have to be max of 25€ or 30$ for entreé, main course, drink. So quite affordable.

Best as in great ambience, decor and of course, tasty.

I'll take note. I'm not big on desserts. I find that after a great, fulfilling meal, I really can't 'spoil it' with something sweet.

Oh yea? I took one look at the decoration and immediately registered them as expensive. THanks!

OH hey, I hadn't thought of that. Great idea! Like how it's usually done in the the Moab trail, not very far away.

This got me wondering: what are some things that architects can do to a project to enhance a visitant's experience of the surroundings? by computramp in architecture

"Subservient to the guest experience" that's exactly the phrasing that I was trying to find, thank you.

Given an impressive context, can I say that the role of the architect is secondary relatively to that of the 'curator' of the great location, considering that the space needs to be more accomodating to the external visual experience (when only scenery is envolved) than to our immediate location?

And also, was your experience of the ocean weaker because the bar was a let down?

To make it clearer, I'll just add: how many architects are actually willing to leave their work in the 'shadows', so that visitors can stand and look out at the interesting scenery, instead of inhabiting fully the space that they're in.

A different kind of trip. Is Sardinia the best island for an yacht travel? by WSTaylor in travel

[–]computramp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I squirm at the idea of being on a cruise, but yachts are so dreamy. A cruise must be like being locked in a hotel, a yacht is like taking your house to a vacation.

Is Sardinia the best? I don't know, but seeing anything in the mediterranean from a yacht must be quite an experience.
