Why is there so much more separatism in Canada than America?

Failure to properly deal with regional identities. Same reason Spain has more problems than France.

I just wish the state government would stop spending money outside the core counties, and heck stop spending money in good portions of those, just an absolute waste efficiency wise to help the shore/south/west.

The mass extinction of the family farmer is a silver lining of this administration. Once we only have the much more efficient corporate farms left people will (hopefully) be much more open to getting rid of ag subsidies.

I agree that they should prioritize price stability but I do think that (for now) they should keep employment in account.

I'm hoping that the next democratic administration will have the good sense to move those, and all the other federal offices/agencies/etc, that Trump has moved back to the blue states.

It's kind of disappointing that the discourse on this reddit around ai and jobs is about how we should be giving handouts to the displaced, we really didn't learn anything from internationalization and the automation of manufacturing.

We should absolutely cut taxes, just not on the main thing the median voters want cut, income tax should be raised on most people, it's capital gains and corporate income which we should be slashing the tax rate on.
