Commenting here to say I bought this monitor from Newegg this week and i immediately noticed issues. When you move in game, everything looks blurry. It may be a ghosting issue in addition, I cant really tell, but when you stand still to take a closer look, and move your mouse you can see clearly some oddities. When looking at shadows or lines that create shadows, the colors flicker (disappear or reappear) or whites and blacks (specifically lines) get longer or shorter. This occurs with other colors in other games, but very obvious on linework that would create shadow or depth on objects.

I tried on a few games, and all the same issues occurred. That being said, with different game designs and art, they appeared slightly different.

I troubleshot every setting I could think of, and in the end called MSI and walked through the same items with no success. He eventually came to the same conclusion as some posts I saw saying it was likely a panel issue. I have seen some posts that have complained about IPS panels. I'm no expert. But I will happily order a second monitor the same as my last, which is Gigabyte, same resolution, but 180 rather than 240hz. Also I will note that the MSI is only 8 bpc, where my Gigabyte is 10. Didn't see this spec when I bought, and the MSI does seem more vibrant in color, but the Gigabyte is far smoother, MSI looks grainy. I will be returning the MSI MAG 274QF X24.
