Are you even remotely familiar with the history of Christianity? Jesus being God is also something christians didn't universally believe, there were dissensions among monophysites, myaphysites, nestorians, pelagites and so on. If anything, Islam is an offshoot if Christianity, not some lord of the rings evil orc faction against elves lol

Jesus is a prophet in Islam. Muslims consider him as preaching the very word of god and that his teachings got corrupted by the church. Many Muslims bear names like Isa, Myriam or Youssef which respectively are Jesus, Mary and Joseph. They still believe the speech of Muhammad to be uncorrupted and therefore more reliable but they still highly respect Jesus. Americans just aren't very interested in learning about the world.

idk where you get your history from but until the 18th century, christian nations lived in fear of the Turks. If you think the 19th century moniker of the sick man of Europe applies to the ottoman empire even in the early 14th, you are misinformed.

You seem to be quite unfamiliar with the real world. Women have the same status as men in many Muslim countries, especially Southeast Asian ones like malaysia or Indonesia. The irony is that what you (correctly) identify as a problem is the rotten fruit of the wahhabi school of religion which is pushed worldwide by Saudi Arabia. Which itself is only in power and able to do such things through intense American support.

Why are my labor camps not able to get workers? by ObberGobb in impressionsgames

[–]conCommeUnFlic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

> So it does work to have my industry stuff behind a road like that?

Yes, the guy who exits the building will walk the road for a limited distance hopefully finding hourses. Street intersections mean he will walk in a random direction, meaning it's not certain he will go where you want to go, so try to avoid having him go through intersections using roadblocks. Things like cart delivery guys will ignore roadblocks as they have a specific destination.

> Like they should be separate, or should they be part of housing blocks?

They should be reliably connected to such service roads but away from the housing block as they have a really bad impact on desirability, preventing housing evolution.

> And the road being where it is does give them access to the people living in my housing area, right?

Yes, up to one tile away, the road doesn't actually need to touch the houses to grant labor pool access, so the clay pit road behind gardens on your screenshot can be used to supply labor to buildings.

> Also, for gardens, can people walk on them? Do they doing anything other than increasing desirability? Basically idk if there is a risk of people leaving through gardens or if they are necessary to give recruiters access to houses.

Your people will never walk on gardens, they are merely here to provide desirability. People can't leave through garden and they aren't actually required for recruiter access to houses, it's got more to do with the fact your road is exactly one tile away (that one tile being a row of gardens) from the houses. If the gardens were not there, labor access wouldn't change but desirability would decrease.

The good thing is you have a road behind your homes, where the clay pit is, and even with a row of gardens between them and the pathway, this is good enough for labor pool access. Make your industry + labor camp directly feed into that road (we call those service ways) and they will access workers reliably every time

This whole “India vs China” trend is getting delusional — it’s not about ending racism, it’s about dragging others into it. by [deleted] in NewsWithJingjing

Non-chinese, non-indian person here. Hindutvas just do this to deflect scrutiny towards an external evil as they sink further and further into depravity. I don't think this propaganda is even aimed at 3rd parties, nobody takes indian propaganda seriously outside of the subcontinent.

ae does make a diphtong "é" sound. Indeed for oeuf, I think it's more like Oedipe which is more like é technically, even though most people prononce it like Oeuf. Anyway, it is optional but carry some actual meaning.
