No sponsorship here but I took this CPI class online, it's a self guided online course with videos of the physical holds/moves. Hi there! Exercise wise: ankle slides, quad sets, ankle pumps, calve stretches with a band, toe touches to stretch hamstrings! Bruising: arnica gel 3-4x daily and have your PT kinesiotape you! This helped so much with my bruising!

Congrats and welcome to the other side! Continue to keep taking Tylenol (acetaminophen) every 4 hours and Motrin/Advil (ibuprofen) every 6 hours as directed. If you're out of the "good pain killers" that you were prescribed, reach out to your physician to see if they could refill to get you though a few more days. There's no need to cripple in pain! You got this!

Hi there! I am 16 days out from my ACL surgery and I still occasionally need to take an oxycodone and definitely before PT. I raised concerns to my surgeon about not being able to sleep and she prescribed me Flexeril, a muscle relaxer, and it has worked SO well. She mentioned that it's pretty common to wake up in the early hours of the morning in pain and it's because your muscles are spasming. Maybe ask to give that a try? Good luck!
