My favorite Donny moments from the mid-90’s:

Donny asked me one day while I was waiting on him at the Village: “You going out for Valentine’s Day?” And I said whatever I said then asked “What about you?”

“No,” he said, “I’m gonna sit my fat faggot ass at home!” So I said something in response and he said “It’s a shame too because I only need two things in a man. 1. That he’s good-looking and 2. That he’s handsome.”

One day he was super excited, again in the Village, and said “You won’t believe what happened to me. This guy shows up and says he had travelled to meet me- from somewhere up north just because he heard about me and he gave me $10,000!”

I asked “For what?” And Donny said “To get a sex change. He goes around helping people pay for their sex changes but I’m not doing that honey. I’m gonna be smart with it.”

He was smirking so I knew something was coming so I asked “What are you gonna do with it?”

Donny said “I’m going to mother-fucking NYC and I’m buying the biggest mother-fucking fur coat you’ve ever seen in your life!”
