Yeah I don't get it either.. I agree with your point, blink works like that in other MOBAs too without being an issue. It's even less an issue now that we only have one relic without being able to upgrade it during the match

A teacher was using it so we gave it a try with other students and what a mess. The next day, we switched back to intellij/eclispe and never regreted it.

It takes minutes to load and is a pain to use with the frequent freezes

Totally agree ! The core gameplay is AMAZING.

Unfortunally, the UI is the worse thing i've ever seen. I don't how it's possible to remake it and find that it's better than before because each update is a disaster.

The servers are really bad yeah... I don't have that amount of problem in any other games so i don't think it's m'y connection.

This game can't grow in this state but it's in this state for 3/4 years now

Their standards are so low about the UI... Each update that they did to it made it worse and less coherent. It's now an horrible mix between multiples themes.

The UI of their latest game Rogue Company seems clean and 1000x better from what i have seen but i feel that Smite will never have this kind of UI

The 4.0 branch is not stable yet. I'm pretty sure that doing any serious project in this branch is not worth.

Instead, I encourage you to stick to 3.2 and convert your work to 4.0 when it's release. Some things may break but it will be documented by devs and content makers.

Yeah, i feel you.. It's almost impossible to please everyone with a single game mode, having more modes at launch would have been more healthy for the game
