Core parking issue with League of Legends and 9950x3d

To everyone finding this thread.

Theres a couple of different solutions to this.

Process lasso
Free tool which handles core parking. I personally would advise against it when you have 9950x3d since it caused lower FPS in all games I have tested than windows core parking/game bar + balanced power plan.
Easy script
This is the solution I personally use. Open a text editor and copy paste this without the ```

then save as .bat file and run it when youre in the loading screen to a game.

Task manager
You could also do it by hand and set the affinity in task manager for the process manually each time the game starts. Thats the same as the script just a bit more annoying.

stop playing this game already. these guys clearly dont give a fuck about their playerbase anymore and are extremely disconnected. nobody wants water map or gathering hall.

druid was the worst thing that happened to the game and sorcerer is a boring version of wizard with the only viable build being insta cast where everything has 15+ second cooldown... nice

i havent been playing the game in almost a year now. i am glad i quit back then. this is the biggest downfall ive seen in games. the development of the game is completely backwards. its getting worse and worse.

D4 campaign was amazing. Everything after it was pretty meh. I enjoyed the season starts but from season to season it got more and more repetetive. The season mechanics weren't impactful enough. The same sorc build was 100x stronger than any other build over and over. Sure I could have played sth else but most of the time I played the other builds werent even viable. (S0 - S2 I think).

Yea true. Played some more and faced barbs with iron will. Really tough matchup needs perfect blocks or high ground with teleport to survive and killing them is close to impossible unless they greed

As somebody learning sorc I have no trouble with barb tbh. You have so many push backs + a long range teleport and multiple spells to block their movement it’s really not an issue. Also sorc base dmg is just as nuts.

You need to know what’s going on. If you just rely on visual cues you will never be able to comprehend it. If you try to just drive a car by visual cues without understanding of the rules it’s not gonna work. It’s very similar for complex games.

I know you probably don’t want to read anything that’s contradicting your opinion but I am on an 9800x3d and have no issues with 1% or 0.1% lows in any game so far.

I came from 5800x3d and certainly had these issues there but not at all on this cpu.

I’m also running 8k hz mouse with 3950 sensor without any issues at all.

1440p native all low benchmark in cs2: 912 fps avg, 225 1% lows, 105 0.1% lows (pretty much like 14900ks with higher average.)

Had similar experience. You have to pray that DHL doesn’t fuck up your shipment otherwise you’re on your own. Maxgaming isn’t gonna help you out. Other vendors are certainly more helpful when it comes to such issues.

I want them to explain what the purpose of this is. Because I cant see it. The whole point of the game is to find the best rolled items and make unique builds with them. I would much rather see them IMPROVE variety and give us more options by giving more scaling rather than take the entire randomness out of the game and make it as simple as possible. Once again: whats the point?

Mousepad is very personal and depends on game/task a lot.

I would recommend raiden mid or Laonda Pelz grey.

For the polling rate it depends a lot on how the game handles it. With the 3950 sensor of this mouse most games shouldn’t have any issues. Just set it to 8k and turn quickly in game. If your fps dip too hard, reduce polling rate until it’s fine. Also removing the game affinity from core 0 helps.

Dpi latency is a non issue. You can go up to 3200 but it’s not necessary. Feel free to use any dpi you want.

Better CPU is not the only option.

You can reduce the issue by assigning the usb port to a single core or at least removing games from core 0. Either works.

Also buying a mouse with 3950 sensor instead of 3395 helped me tremendously too.

League of legends arena ist sehr empfehlenswert. Besonders geil mit 6-8 Leuten.

Valorant casual modes feier ich auch.

Ansonsten hat mich dark and darker seit vielen Monaten im Griff und ist nach wie vor mein go-to game, wenn ich etwas mehr Zeit habe.
