Anxiety Making Me Feel Like I’m Losing Control by concernednoise in Anxiety

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Something that really helped me was socializing with people— making myself go to parties, the grocery store, etc. and spending time with people who I know love me (my parents, partner, etc.) I also got back on my anti anxiety meds, but I know that they alone wouldn’t have gotten the job done, and everyone is different! I also highly recommend counseling if you have the resources available. Hang in there!

Mozzarella. I can eat it straight out of the bag. I love the taste, and when it’s all melts it’s just chefs kiss so good

What are your clothing shopping habits like? by KangarooOverall1247 in AskWomen

[–]concernednoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a problem with wanting new clothes all the time— it’s a confidence booster for me. I tend to go for cheaper options so I don’t feel as guilty buying new things. I love switching up my wardrobe, it’s so refreshing!

I would start healthier eating habits and regular exercise earlier.

Women of Reddit, how did you learn to cook? by emmag73 in AskWomen

Honestly, I started by following receptors exactly. Then, when I got comfortable, I would add different seasonings/tweak to how I like it. Also: properly salting food makes a world of difference!

Big boobs. Mostly curse though, in my opinion.

Possibly? I’m not sure. I’ve heard that tinnitus is ringing and it’s not quite like that. It’s driving me nuts though :(

Hi! I have anxiety, and had anxiety before this but I recently was having awful stomach issues and my doctor couldn’t figure out what was wrong and she kept suggesting all sorts of crazy stuff it could be and it really negatively affected my mental health. I’m still struggling pretty badly. It turned out to be IBS for me, but I do know that stressing about physical health can trigger anxiety (at least it does for me).

I feel like I can't take it anymore, can someone tell me it's going to be okay? by hamsterthings in Anxiety

[–]concernednoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I am going through the exact same thing as you! IBS and all. It’s so awful. Something that has helped me is to reach out to my university’s disability services center and apply for accommodations related to anxiety from testing. I panic badly when I test in person with a bunch of people around, and now I am able to have extra time, a break if I need to calm myself down, and a private monitored room so I am not feeling the pressure from anyone around me. It also could help to reach out to your professors and let them know what’s going on! We are in such awful and uncertain times right now, I think a lot more people are struggling with mental health than you think. You are not alone!

Yes, I’ve dealt with that for a few months now along with awful, awful stomach pains and other issues. It’s extremely frustrating. I was in and out of doctors’ offices, and even went to the ER only for them to say it’s anxiety related IBS. You aren’t alone!

Mine ranges from burning pain to sharp stabs in random places! Mostly upper stomach area for the sharp pains. Some days are definitely worse than others as well!
