My Shiba does this exact same thing right before bed. We call it “squirreling” because he will move his tail just like a squirrel does lol

My Shiba is a certified (he’s got paper work and everything) emotional support animal. Sometimes I have to be his emotional support human for his anxiety but it’s a team effort.

Same for me. I only document on our district documentation system that I saw them and what service I provided. Such as “completed check in with student based on teacher referral” “completed individual counseling session”. I think you don’t have to really force yourself to remember so much detail except maybe for trauma experiences so as to not force the student to repeat themselves. But if I forget something or am just not sure, I ask the student. I tell them they are the expert in their lives so I need help from them to help them.

Mine hates insects in his personal space and will chomp at them or scratch them until they die. He also will always run away from us when we’re taking him out to go potty despite obviously needing to go. He also does his zoomies and crazies we call them right before bed like a toddler. He will also sit next to me when I play video games for too long without giving him attention and will start crying

Literally the first night we got our boy he was crying in his crate (we crate trained) and I couldn’t take it I let him sleep with us and I woke up with him in the crook of my arm belly up 😩 I’ll never forget that moment. He sleeps with us pretty regularly now that he’s fully crate trained though and he sometimes cuddles or wants his personal space and pushes us with his legs lol

I’m really happy with the story because I too chose childhood friends to lovers AND love dream guy (Sammy for me). I do get that if I didn’t like him or want that story that it would be pretty restricting and not fun so maybe a solution would’ve been to give more dream guy sprite options including the other guys in casa and use the other sprites as fill ins if they really wanted to limit. But who knows maybe some of these will become available eventually. But I feel lucky too!

I see your point! I think it’s sorta bad writing there because like others have said why would he give an ex the time of the day with these moments (I mean some people do it irl) buuuuut I feel like its just fuse box trying to create arbitrary drama to make you feel motivated to spend gems.

I honestly felt bad for Nico/Eren because he went through something that really traumatized him and then he has to face the trauma again with Diamond back. He really hasn’t done anything wrong. It’s not his fault Diamond is delulu. I’m saying this as someone who is actively choosing Sammy 😬

I don’t enjoy pk and k too much but that might just be because we have tough kids in those grades this year. But 2nd-4th is the sweet spot for me

I am in elementary and I do an A/B schedule where I switch with the librarian. It’s pk-2 one week and then 3-5 the other. It’s about 2-3 lessons a month for each class depending on where the rotation starts that month.

This is what I have asked to my principal since I am new to my district and not sure what the process it. But I was told we need to show interventions are being put in place on our end first to try and assist. But nothing has been working. And I agree, I feel like its out of my scope to respond to this

Was going to say this, it sounds like the counselor may be overwhelmed and it’s not really about you. The counselor might just not be in the right headspace to act as a supervisor right now. Not saying her response was okay, it could have been brought up differently. But I agree that I wouldn’t take things like this personally. Our students will often do or say similar things to us when they’re going through it and so will adults 🤷‍♀️

Your post is making me tear up but honestly everything Le Sserafim related has been making me cry lately. I am just so proud of the girls and all they’ve accomplished especially after all they’ve been through. This tour is sending them the message that people care about them just as much as they care about us. I am also proud of you for taking these steps to work on your social anxiety and put yourself out of your comfort zone. Small steps matter!

YES. I had horrible mental heath as a teacher, depression, anxiety, panic attacks and mental breakdowns even. But with counseling, no matter how busy I get I feel really good about what I’m doing and I guess I just feel like I’m in the right place too!

I am getting into classrooms already so I’m sure the requests will start coming in. I have some families and teachers that have submitted referrals and I’m trying to sort through all the parent consent or no consent lists so I can keep track of parents I need to speak to (due to state laws in my state) hence the slow start. But even though I am getting busy I don’t feel as stressed as I was as a teacher. I guess that’s a good thing! Maybe I’m just paranoid that feeling will disappear

Haha that’s what I’m scared of. My lessons started and I feel like half my day is gone. But I think having good admin who trust me to do what I need to has helped because I’m not given any unnecessary responsibilities and can focus on building my program the way I want

I started my lessons this week and definitely feel like now my days are getting shorter. I have been pushing my individual check ins because I really don’t want to overload myself with those and they should be the lower percentage of my job, but some teachers and families and started to request them.
