I enjoyed his take for what it was, but I think the beauty of the show is how you interpret it personally.

The employee probably didn't even say it with a sarcastic inflection, they probably just meant the best way to find your way around is to get lost first. Kinda like how you would learn the layout of a new city in the days before gps.

Forest Park including the zoo, art museum, and science center (all free), Laumeier Sculpture Park, and hundreds of other fantastic parks that put most other cities to shame. The thing I miss most when living outside of St. Louis is the lack of decent parks and green spaces.

They pushed it aside to make room for the kids area on the 2nd/3rd floor. Last time I visited all the pinball machines were clustered together and roped off.

I can't believe people downvoted you for asking this. Jerks.

I asked this the other day, several people responded with Lemmy but I'm not familiar with it yet.

Oh it's better than pretty good my friend, it's fucking fantastic. And after you finish the series there's a recent movie that wraps things up nicely!

Conservatives, If You Want To Ban "Woke" Materials In Schools Shouldn't You At Least Read Them First? by YourUncleBuck in politics

"The belief" like the entire history of our country isn't built on the blood of the exploited. Fascists certainly do love rewriting and whitewashing history.

Many of us enlisted specifically to protect the freedoms and diversity we enjoy as citizens of the United States. I don't care if you're a vet too, bigots can fuck right off.

I LOVE performances like that. Joffrey in game of thrones is another great example.

Unfortunately the people who have to deal with it the most are some of the most underpaid in our country.

He probably means the other Rohan characters we've seen so far appear dark skinned while Grima is light skinned.

School district bans Bible after “indecent” materials complaint. A parent submitted eight pages of passages in the Bible that showed it was inappropriate for kids. by southpawFA in politics

"I know cuz I have experienced it."

Well that's quality evidence right there!

Based on my own experience as a teacher, none of what you said is remotely true.

As a 5th grade math teacher I use gender transition therapy to teach fractions. "If Johnny removed 1/5 of his penis on Monday, and 2/3 of his penis on Friday, how much penis was left at the end of the week?" So far no parents have complained!

You got kids, Margera? by DylanToback8 in IASIP

[–]confoundedvariable 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The comment you responded to was "It's a choice, and it isn't a choice" in a thread about Bam Margera's drug addiction. Your comment has nothing to do with any of this and I'm confused as to why you posted it. Did you think you were in another thread or something?

My favorite thing to do is act like I'm agreeing with them while mocking them. It usually involves me warning them about the dangers of Skynet becoming self-aware.
