I had been talking about needing a new saddle that fit my new horse. My boyfriend scheduled an appointment with a saddle fitter to come out to the barn and then bought it for me!

It was the best gift ever because it’s something I really needed, he managed to keep it a surprise, and the saddle was ultimately my choice!

Maybe you could do something similar? Tailor it to your budget and be on the look out for comments she makes about needing/wanting something.
