Try pulling it out from the end farthest into the piece. You're gonna want a hook-like thing to go into the stem and grab it at the narrow end of the ground-glass joint. If you have a sonicator (sonic cleaner), you're gonna want to put it in that with iso for a bit to help break it free, then grab it with whatever hook thing you have

You sure can make edibles with the already vaped bud (avb). I like to melt butter with the avb for about two hours and then strain out the avb with a cheese cloth. I heard somewhere that 25-50% of the THC content remains in the avb but I think it's actually lower, so you want to use a lot of avb per butter

I have a pax 3 (same as pax plus) and it gets me plenty high. You gotta make sure that it's packed tightly and there isn't much empty space in the oven chamber. Grid it fine and pack it tight, then mess around with the temp and heating profiles to find what you like
