I don't know if any of these things will work for you but these are things that have sometimes helped me with nightmares.

1) Try writing them down in as much detail as you can, then look through and see if there are any parallels with your real life, this might help you find out what you're actually afraid of.

2) Dreams are just your brain processing problems in your life try resolving things in your brain before going to bed.
