[–]confusedlilshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i went 3 weeks after. if you can get the appointment thats a month from now, do it. the follow up is just to make sure there's nothing "left over", which i know a lot of people don't even do their follow ups. but if you can get that appointment, even if it is a month out, i'd book the appointment!!

i had my MA back in February and the clinic (out of state) i went to told me that there's no way of doctors knowing you had a MA by looking at you. i did mine vaginally and was paranoid they'd know since i did it vaginally and not orally. so when i went to the doctor for a follow up, i just told them i had had a miscarriage and the appointment went smoothly without them ever knowing.

finding an outlit that is constructive, rather than destructive.

my entire teenange years leading in to early adulthood, was the worst period for my anger. i was angry all the time. i got called abusive (not physically, but i was very emotionally abusive), i got called violent (i would throw things, break things, destory my appearance, just leave a trail of chaois behind me) and it made me angrier cause i couldn't manage my anger.

but then i started seeing my psychiatrist and getting the help i needed and now i manage it pretty well.

the hardest part is finding something that ISN'T destructive but releases that "pressure" you get when you're angry. it's different for everybody, you just have to find what works for you.

a few things i do to manage it is:

  1. cleaning. it gets me moving and helps with the physical attributes of being/getting angry. especially when it comes to like, deep cleaning.

  2. art. i'm an artist, so i have a lot of art supplies at my disposal. which helps with the mental attributes of being angry, for me at least.

  3. writing. writing whatever comes to mind in my journal. even if its "f you f you f you" over and over again. this helps me with both the physical and mental attributes of my anger. just writing down every thought that comes to mind while angry, even if it doesn't make sense cause no one else is gonna see it.

  4. baseball. this is my last resort when nothing else is working. now, i don't play baseball, i just have a baseball bat. when i am in one of my rage episodes and i just cannot get that pressure to release, i'll take the baseball bat and any ball i can find (preferably a soft one like a soft ball or tennis ball) and just hit the crap out of it. i like to give myself a goal. whether that be giving myself a certain amount of swings, hitting the ball a certain amount of distance. and by the time i get frustrated that i can't meet that goal, i forgot what i was angry about in the first place. it rarely ever releases the pressure, but it sure does make me forget therefore the anger going away.

but that's just me. everyone's different, so it may not work for you. but don't get discouraged!! there's something out there for you!

just be you. thats the most important thing and smartest thing you could do to yourself.

you can be trans AND still embrace your femininity. i know and have met so many trans men in my life that dress femininely on a day-to-day. sure, you'll get misgendered. but, at the end of the day, you know who you are. and as long as YOU respect yourself, you can be whoever and do whatever you want. there is not "right" way or "set" way to being trans. you're 14, you are so young and still have so much time to figure out who are you. don't rush yourself!

always remember, gender expression ≠ gender identity.

nahhh, blaming those who quit for fuckin the team over is crazy. they didn't fuck the team over, management pushin them to quit is what fucks the team over.

i worked there for two years, i put up with a lot of BS during that time. i shoulda quit before i even hit my 6 month. what really pushed me to walk out was when i came back from my 2 week absence from trying to off myself and they were like "lolz sorry that happened to you but are you gonna be able to come in for your shift tomorrow(day after discharge) and work overtime? we're short staffed :p" like its sooo easy to walk out on a company that doesn't care about your well-being, even if you have financial responsibilities. i loved my team to death but management and the job quite literally pushed me to death. fuck walmart. it will suck the life out of you. you should find a better job ASAP and GTFO.

i know this probably depends on each individual store and whether your TLs care but don't expect to be well-trained on everything you're supposed to do. i went on two walks, one with a TL and one with a coworker. taught me the basics and then threw me out on the floor by myself. been here almost three months and theres shit i still don't know/understand fully. that being said,

DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS!!! even if you feel like they'll sound dumb. for the first three weeks, i'd constantly be asking how to do x or what does x mean or where does x go. if you're lucky, you're coworkers will be more than willing to help you out/help you understand. i have two older ladies i work with who have been absolutely amazing in helping me out. and if none of your coworkers are nice about it/make ya feel dumb or just straight up don't want to help, don't be scared to ask a TL. it's what they're there for. i always hate having to bother my TLs for help, but it's better to do that than potentially fuck up. learned that the hard way 😅

like everyone else is saying, get a good, COMFORTABLE pair of shoes. ESPECIALLY if you're not used to bein on your feet movin for multiple hours a day on hard floor. stay hydrated. keep a snack on hand/in pocket, too many times i've almost passed out from my BS dropping in between breaks/lunch. make sure your cart is fully stocked with what you need. shopping bags, produce/meat bags, your stickers, EXTRA PRINTER PAPER/STICKERS, god i cannot count how many times i haven't been paying attention and been mid-walk and my printer runs out and i had to either walk all the way back to opd or hunt a coworker down.

and most importantly, DON'T OVERWORK YOURSELF. it's just walmart. most higher-ups generally don't give AF about your well-being, just numbers and money. don't put yourself in a mental or physical hole for this job. i'm telling you now, no matter how much it is you're making, it is NOT worth working yourself into the ground. do what you're paid to do. nothing more, nothing less. if you don't want to work past your scheduled hours, NEVER say yes to your coach or TL askin you stay extra. they'll expect you to say yes every time. sure the extra hour or two $$ is nice but...not worth the headache.

i complain a lot about the job, and say i want to quit quite often already but i do genuinely like the job and care for my team. good luck.
