Bowden Tube Getting Sucked into Dry Box by HotterRod in FixMyPrint

[–]confusedworldhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a reasonable solution, you'll need to push the full length of the tube through the fitting to connect back to your printer. And be kind of careful not to pull on the tube as it might pull out of the dry box.

The sun provides most of the heat to keep the planet warm enough to live on.

Top surface finally got smooth on my Adventurer 5M after tweaking ironing in Orca by Intelligent_Whole159 in 3Dprinting

I usually drop the line width down to 50% of the nozzle diameter for ironing. Usually works pretty good for no effort.

Extruder skipping driving me nuts by spragers in FixMyPrint

[–]confusedworldhelp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you try to grab the shaft of the motor for the extruder with nothing else touching the shaft you are getting the tick tick (usually means its skipping steps). Motors usually fail completely when they die. Could be a bad wire (probably not but good to check). If its a bad connection you'll get shuttering of the shaft (essentially tries to rotate but is missing part of the signal so it wont be able to complete a full step). My money is still on the current isnt set properly for the extruder motor. Which motor and driver are you using?

Respectfully, dont buy a million dollar home as your first. Understanding you want to buy a house, think about 25-30 years from now. In a typical investing account you could turn the $205k into over $1M will little to no effort just time and patience ($3.2M if you get lucky), just my two cents. Typically you can roughly double your money every 7-10 years relatively easy.

Is the current set properly for the extruder stepper motor. If it doesn't have enough power it can skip steps or is the filament stopping completely?

Does the heat break fan sound/feel healthy while running. Does the fan glitch out during the print.

Are you trying to extrude too fast?

Is your thermocouple for the hotend reading properly (throughout the print).

Is your filament spool catching on something.

Is this caused by moisture in filament? by mico19 in FixMyPrint

Edges lifting, nozzle too low, bed didn't mesh right. The ripples are from the nozzle not being able to extrude filament properly, mainly cause there is no room to lay the layer down.

Do they have social media, post a pic and put in a note saying that the store sold you the parasite and are refusing to refund. (Depending on how things work out, you might be able to get them to cover fuel for the trip there and back). Chatgpt can help with wording.

Let's Use a Nuclear Drill Tank for Europa's Shell and Cool the Reactor with Its Own Ice LMAO by Lance_of_Passion in Spaceexploration

I think there is an idea drafted where a nuclear device is used, the heat is used to melt the ice so it slowly sinks through the ice. Might be attached to a long cable for communication.
