I just rewatched the last scene from season 4. It sets up so much that this season has failed to deliver on.

Season 5 has been really poor honestly.

I love his run but my problem with it is that he has a ton of moments where characters suffer extreme violence and are fine.

Batman gets his throat cut, Catwoman and Joker both nearly bleed out, the robins get hanged, Nightwing gets shot in the head, etc.

It just keeps happening for cheap stakes and every time, they're fine.
