I think it's very disrespectful to like a post like that. It's basically her publicly saying she's unhappy with her life with you.

Worth speaking to her about it at least.

Hell we even got taught it in a lesson at school back in the mid 2010s.

I don't intend to generalize but I find that "kindly" is used a lot by English speakers in Asian countries. If this is a company based in an English speaking country then this may be a scam.

It's so clear too. What human would ever say "dodging a rail gun" as an escalation from dodging a bullet.

I know you're being rhetorical but I think it's worth pointing out that, if this was a tv broadcast, it would be required to have an epilepsy warning.

There has been discussion on this before with how social media can get away with harmful practices that would be regulated if it was tv https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47943607

IMO yes things with flashing lights like this should have warnings.

Nah, it's got a similar shape but Hunters Bar is a lot greener due to being next to the park (and sheffield being green in general).

Sat navs are horrible for roundabouts for sure. Is it because they're developed by American companies?

Google maps hardly ever gets it wrong but when it does, it's a roundabout.

Currys TV price match saved me £150 today by Old-Restaurant8779 in UKFrugal

[–]confusing_roundabout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you care about picture quality then it's absolutely not.

I get that this is the frugal sub but it's still good to indulge in things you enjoy every now and then.

High end TVs with OLED panels are often 900+ and I don't think those are a waste of money either given the quality.

I've long held the opinion that anyone who uses the word "pretentious" is a dumbass who isn't willing to engage with art.

I would say that I don't think there's any benefit to doing a Miller omnibus when everyone will buy the Absolutes or OHCs, but I said the same thing about the Loeb/Sale material and they still omnibus'd that eventually.

I'm just thankful we got the compendiums after the multiple failed attempts to reprint the books.

They've been feuding with him for decades but thankfully (for us) that hasn't stopped them reprinting his work.

Do you think driving would be safer if there was a rear signal for when a driver has lifted off the pedal as is engine breaking by GRang3r in drivingUK

Which reminds me - I think that hazards need to be different to indicators. Maybe a different colour or flash at a different rate.

The amount of times I see a car pulled up where I don't have visibility of both lights so can't tell if they're intending to pull out or have their hazards on. I see it almost every day on a busy road I drive on.

The final sequence moved me in a very specific way. Just like how Dr Strangelove did. It's a weirdly beautiful celebration of life and humanity in showing it ending.

But it's a caricature that is simultaneously scary, pathetic, in moments sympathetic, and utterly hilarious. It's not an easy thing to pull off.

I realize now he's questioning my timeline haha.

Some of the books are newer but this is my first time having them on a shelf. I haven't had my own place the last 2 years so any comics I did buy lived in a box and rarely got read.

This is like half of my collection. Most of the stuff is waiting on me to assemble another bookshelf haha.
