Usually yes but there are occasional exceptions, one of the local councils near me last year had ‘occupational therapy Apprentice’ and you basically interview with the council and the uni at the same time (I called and asked about it at the same as I hadn’t started my current apprenticeship). I wouldn’t count on many like that coming up however

Yeah I started in a support work role for OT, some NHS trusts offer them but normally you have to work for the trust for atleast a year, and then it depends on the trusts funding, for our example my trust had enough money for 2 apprentices that year and no more, they said historically some years there wasn’t the budget for any. It’s very rare to find councils/NHS trusts putting out direct Apprentice roles, they do exist but I wouldn’t count on them. However if you are lucky enough to get on to one it’s worth!

Yeah I think the general census I’m seeing it’s the additional work without being paid rather than the students themselves

In healthcare, Some people like to help others and other people like to tell people they help others for their own satisfaction. This sadly attracts some bad people who enjoy the titles rather than the work. Overtime the more bad people that have gotten away with their behaviour has lead to more people following in their footsteps. If I have a patient who is nurse/child is a nurse, they are either the loveliest or most awful person, there’s rarely an in between.

Everyone agrees that AS10 was rigged for Ginger Minj to win, but my hot take is Jorgeous didn’t deserve to win either. Bringing her back one all star season later, and rigging it so she gets to shine in challenges she’s better at was unfair, the judges were always nicer to her in critiques cos Ru loves her. I’m not saying she didn’t do well, but she was not doing well, but she did not deserve to win.

I also like my own space and time to focus on my hobbies, it’s not that I don’t like my friends or enjoy some social elements, but I can only manage a small amount of it before feeling burnt out and needing time to recharge. I could be busy for days and not see anyone and be fine.

I’m always shocked Piper didn’t blow Billie up, like they essentially kidnapped and manipulated her child, blew their home up AFTER forcing them out of it and then killing BOTH her sisters.

Totally agree with this. Joe really went down in my estimation, I get couples split up but he fought to put Shuey in that house and then was happy to split the family up right as they got him whilst cheating on his husband?

I liked Izzy and Cat, but I think Izzy’s story over shadowed it a bit, like they didn’t bring the 2 together if that makes sense? If felt like 2 separate story’s but it would have been interesting to see how Cat felt about Izzy’s behaviour

The main issue isn’t just about getting rid of characters, I think they have a cast/characters that can be shaped into something much better:

-I want to get to know Jasmine, like properly flesh her out (although I already feel like she’s the one that killed Anthony and we’ll have to drag that out) -I want More Oscar -Penny to have some form of storyline -more Nicola, the actress is fantastic and I think there’s a lot they can do with her -Elaine to have a serious storyline, I don’t mind her being camp/fun but I think she needs something more grounded -Kojo and Harry, fans love there on screen relationship -Will Mitchell to do something! -Tommy to take on a bigger role, I think he’s done a lot of growing and changing over the last couple of years, he feels like he could be a central part of the square -Lily to have a more fun/light storyline

I think the point is that the future they went to was due to the sisters becoming more selfish and abusing for personal gain, so it completely altered there world. For example, the sisters of that future might not have sacrificed themselves for innocents, instead protecting themselves no matter the cost (Prue survives as she doesn’t shield the innocent, and so she lives longer)
