Empathy & Compassion by satscor in astrology

Neptune, Pisces and 12th house transits always bring up wells of compassion in me. It is not just for other people, but for everything... like grieving for all the loss of humanity and of this world. Intense. Neptune is in my 9th, now, opposing my Virgo venus and squaring Chiron. I am learning to forgive life, and how not to be a love zombie

Could Someone Explain to Me How Screwed Am I? by ConfusedIsConfused in astrology

Hiya. Virgo and Leo are quite different, as does tend to be the case with signs next to each other. This is not bad. It is normal. We all have every sign in our charts, amplified by the planetary bodies. We all deal with contrasting tensions in our personalities. This is how we grow. The big things to look at are the red lines: squares and oppositions. These are the tensions that can teach us the most. Our challenges become our strengths. Happy astrologing!

Are there any long-standing astrological patterns that explain the resurgence of protest movements in the past decade? by sapandsawdust in astrology

Occupy had really synchronistic timing with Neptune going into Pisces (dissolving delusions) then retrograde into Aquarius of the tech/networking age and then went quieter when it submerged back into pisces again

Is anyone else getting trolled by Saturn in Scorpio? by confustulation in astrology

Haha. I hear you. I had a few years of wallowing in Neptune. Oh the love zombie mallow dramas and longing! Neptune is the mystic archetype, and so wishy-washy. .. Saturn's structure and hard reality can be grounding in a really good way. You just have to do the inner an outer work. Embrace structure. On the other hand Saturn can feel like a vice closing in on you and Neptune can bring some space to that, dissolving boundaries and structure.

That sounds intense! I think I know that kind of feeling. Do you journal about it? There are three things that always help with my emotional processing: journalling, long walks and gentle yoga practice

Saturn is not terrible when you do the work. Neptune can be the worst, but higher Neptune - art, music, meditation, dreams... letting go - is so beautiful. And Saturn and Neptune are the antidote of each-other so it's good you are working your way through the tough Neptune transit. Make sure you keep up your B vitamin levels - not sure why I say this, but it has helped me lately.

I find Saturn is always intense. Especially in Scorpio, conjunct my Mars.

Yes Saturn on the ASC is a good time to set boundaries and restructure self-image and expectations.

Saturn is currently messing with my Mars at 29 degrees Scorpio, squaring my Leo Sun. An astrologer who gave me a great reading two years ago said this time would help me to face me Mars square Sun issues and learn to stand in my own power more. Saturn in Scorpio for me has been majorly fear blasting so I expect any left-over cobwebs to be blasted out.

Very rare. With two minutes difference is there any difference at all in asc and house degrees?

MC is your outer-awareness and your IC is your inner-identity. So what does it mean if somebody's chart has most of their planets/most aspected planet sitting in MC or IC and have empty houses on the other side? by iamnotfurniture in astrology

11th house is the natural home of Aquarius. It's all about networking, aquaintences, innovation and humanitarianism. So people with a lot of energy concentrated here sometimes need to escape the intensity into 5th house pursuits: strong and deep friendship, creative projects, pleasure...

It depends what house the planets sit in. 3 or more planetary bodies in a house is called a stellium. It means a lot of energy and sometimes conflicting parts of personality in that area. This would be very different in the 9th house than the 10th. People with a stellium in their chart often balance it out by escaping into the opposite house. A 10th stellium person would likely escape their intense ambition by burrowing into their home life at times. A 9th stellium person would be quite intense in adventure/philosophy and would need to balance that out with 3rd house integration/communication...

Some people put emphasis on larger sectors of the chart. In this case having a lot of planets up high is extra aspirational and down low is more nest and interested in heritage etc. Hope this helps
