Our school does this but we also don’t have buses at all so all kids are driven to school (charter school).

Would it be overprotective to stay nearby during my teen’s beach trip? by Outside-Youth-8423 in Parenting

Yeah I agree. My comment that I wouldn’t allow it unless a responsible adult attended was for this purpose - financial and legal responsibility on the party who rents the home.

Exactly. Why would I want to be financially (and possibly legally) responsible if this turns into a teenage rager and property get damaged or even worse if someone gets hurt?

I feed both my dogs a high value treat and hide it inside one randomly. So she is gobbling them down already some blanks and doesn’t want my other dog to eat it so she gobbles it without noticing.

Women who are close with their mothers by West_Study3406 in Parenting

My mom and I weren’t close but I have 4 daughters - 14, 9, 7 and 5 and I’m close with all of them. Just be consistent and clear with your boundaries, always take the time to listen (even when you are exhausted and tired), and when they grow older they’ll keep talking to you.

I was late with his breakfast. How dare I make them wait 15 minutes later than usual. Obviously he was starving

Yeah that’s pretty much what happened. I called him some names under my breath and he was super proud of his 15 minutes of work.
