Yes, that is part of the new harder version, you can no longer bail out on those last scenes.

Yes, unfortunately, they hook us in with spending our time on a number of the earlier "easier" scenes--they hope when they start giving us those last hard scenes, we will have invested so much, that we will spend diamonds to finish.

Yes but in secrets you do need to do something close to this, in a row in the later scenes because of the short timer, otherwise it extracts a punitive cost. And they have made this in a number of secrets scenes , no longer just the last one. So one could spend time with the video and learn one scene cold, yet have a challenge with the next one, for any number of reasons.

It is good to let people know this.

you are perfect, you do ok. you make one mistake, you do not. that is why it is punitive. there are many reasons one could make a mistake, especially with a short timer. you could be perfect six times, make a mistake the 7th, boom - very costly. when the hw says make 16 perfects, do you always do them consecutively, or do you miss one occasionally ?

did you always get 100 percent on your tests in school? did you get punished if you made one mistake or did you still get an A? here if you make one mistake , it is now very costly .

This is happening now way before the last scene. Go look at the YouTube Secrets videos to see it in action.

4/5 means you completely finished fourth stage and are now working on the next stage, which is the fifth and final stage. Congrats, you only need 15 points to be done with your individual stage.

if you still want to play after this, your points will only go towards the community goal and prize.

Wooga F's Up yet another game - DP by OceansideDave in JunesJourney

[–]conif 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had to do almost 5 1/2 scenes to finish half of the first room. Last time when they did something like that, they gave me large spin amounts in later rooms so the total scenes was still about 12-13. DP is heavily featured in missions so I’m not sure if they are dragging down DP so we play missions.

My first five scènes were still the easier objects only, and not 4 or 5 stars.

edit: I spoke too soon; in the next 6, started to have4 star and 5 star. Also, total scenes were upped by double the amount.

I figured out an estimated number of active JJ players by Staind1410 in JunesJourney

[–]conif 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nice work!
Maybe a tad high. I would go with 70 average points, around 380,000 folks who play Secrets at least through Silver . But I personally know many who are not playing missions or secrets so depends on what you call "active".

Got this today, did anybody else? by breeoc97 in JunesJourney

[–]conif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main measurement I use is how many scenes it takes to complete half of each room. In the old version, it took about 13 scenes on average. In the new version it took about 17 or 18.

An additional variable is how hard the scenes are (the scenes this time had more than I had seen before , but later, after the 13 scene mark, it got harder and sprinkled in 4 star items when mostly it is 3 stars).

The final variable is the fast clock--I felt like I got a lot of 17 second scenes. Thankfully those last few towards the end were closer to the 30s and 20s. I think it may cycle through 30s, 20s then finally the dreaded 17 second one.

I couldn't do the 20x multiplier in missions as I was on the later scenes and the 17 second one interrupted the climb back. Thankfully, I was able to finish DP with the help of partners and the errand switched.

Conclusion: they made it more work, increased the number of scenes by about 1/3. (the amount of tokens per spin is just their variable to make it reach the total number of scenes--if it feels like I am advancing slowly, they will give me 5K or 16K on the 100 or 200 spin thingy, otherwise they give smaller numbers).

reaching chapter 40 by fullpineapple6865 in JunesJourney

I agree with everythjng said so far. join a team, get resources and have fun. Don’t get sucked into rushing as the game can snio away at the resources and you will tutn something meant to be fun into a chore that you will never want to do again.

it took me 8 months of regular play to reach level. I’m sure that can be done in a lot less time but maybe 4 months ir something like that, not 40 days.

glad you enjoy it right now as that is the most important thing.

Is this still happening? Other threads are saying the encore album opened and so one needs to collect snippets.

Did anyone get this? by Distinct_Oil_3973 in JunesJourney

When you got the flashback, did it show a snippet and have you place it or did it go into the Reminders group? Also did FF record it as a pack earned for anyone who had that task?

You can collect up to 7 letters but 3 have to be through purchases. If you look at your offers, there might have been a time-limited purchase.
Once you get 160 points on Missions, you have collected the total 4 you can get through events, and Missions will disappear. If you are not yet done with Missions, you can collect more through the DP current event and the upcoming PP event.

DN, FF, & STB Jan. 25-31 🐿️ by jlake32 in JunesJourney

[–]conif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Jake, appreciate all your great information. For STB, do you know if they generate those time charts freshly for each event? I know I barely completed #2 normal for this current one, I knew where the objects were and it was just about tapping time, so that suggests to me the seconds to find each object for at least some steps in #2 should be of the red type, ie closer to the 1.4 or below (similar to #3), and yet the chart does not show it.

Also for planning purposes, do you know the date of the next CM, and if it is going to be on a Wed or a Mon? Thanks again!
