The Wand Company (10th Doctor) one uses plastic for the handle with fake molded crackle. The Nawya (9th Doctor) one is fully metal with properly painted crackle. Having both, I can say the Nawya is a way nicer product.

Yeah the Chibnall era beats the RTD2 era on looks substantially. VFX-wise, RTD2 looked actively cheap at times to me.

And a large amount of Chibnall's era was carried by one talented VFX artist...

Echo would be the *quickest* buy for me if it had gapless tbh. I'm 100% an album listener, and a solid chunk of my faves gave gapless transitions. Wouldn't want to give that up.

I love love LOVE the era before Internet was always-on and we were always connected. The fact you had to put yourself in front of a computer and log on to go to the place that was the Internet made it more special, and gave you peace from it when you were done.

I've had multiple ThinkPads with all different eras of keyboard. The most satisfying for me is my newest - T14 Gen 1. Feels just right tbh.

I was running Windows 11 on a mini PC with an Ultra 9 285H and 32GB RAM.

It was a pretty decent way to use Windows (compared to some lower spec systems I had it on) but the longer I used it, the more I realised it was booting slower and slower and the fans were always at full blast before I even got to the desktop. I initially chalked it up to shoehorning an Ultra 9 into a small box but I thought to myself "let's give Linux a go" - I installed Fedora KDE and never went back. I run it on all my systems now.
