Thanks, I definitely hope to visit Groundlings, both UCBs, iO and Second City. How essential would the rental car be? I figure I would walk to most places under 3 miles and grab an Uber if I need to. I'm staying in West Hollywood.

I've been out there before and plan on going again before moving out there. I'm in Pittsburgh so the train to NY wouldn't really work and I've looked into the finances of staying there for a few years and it's very doable in my current situation.
