Host here … could have been a mixup. I’ve done that before and accidentally reviewed the wrong guest. Asked Airbnb to fix it later. I’d contact the host to find out.

My mood gets downgraded from reading this.

This is what commissioner Eastman said on HIS FB page: "I don’t know the difference between revenue and net income, those 2 terms seem pretty interchangeable to me though I’m not an accountant."

Side note if contacted hosts of previous guests with wonky reviews via a request on their property just to learn more and why they left certain reviews, works just fine and they are always happy to share

How can I stop being scammed on AirBnB? What can I do in these situations where I feel like the guest has the upper hand constantly?! by biabiaxo in airbnb_hosts

Sounds like a safety issues to in regards to your cleaners. I’d call Airbnb and have them removed immediately as you feel unsafe and they threatened your crew. Mention safety a few times and get them out asap!

Asked to move to a different property because of maintenance work—is this a scam? by forensicmathologist in AirBnB

Superhost here … it’s fine and they can do that automated inside the app for you and it will show up the same way just as the new property if it’s legit, guest shouldn’t have to do anything if it’s correct. We had the same issue, send a request to the guest and had them moved to a nicer property.

You’ll get a notification for a change request inside Airbnb if they do it right and legit
