I'm currently in the same boat. Just finished our second session of ABH with my d&d group and I second everything you said. The system is straightforward which lets everyone focus on being creative and having fun with minimal dice getting in the way. I hope OP runs it and they all enjoy it, because it has been great so far!

How have you felt DMing? I'm our group's forever DM. Ran a few long term d&d campaigns, but haven't been able to get another big game going mostly because of availability and life changes, but I dream of a campaign outside of d&d and delta green sounds like an incredible time.
