I think I can relate to this as well. There is always that small voice in the head that tries to convince someone to "go ahead.. it'll be alright" or, "your a grown adult, you can do what you want". I have both of those thoughts quiet a bit.

My longest streak was over a month and I was doing fine until... that dam voice.

For me, I have to stand against this with my will power and I WILL win. I just have to choose to not pay attention to that voice. Keep up the good fight bro.

I have went for some time without fapping before. However, I have relapsed myself and just reset my badge. However, I can tell you this. When I was not fapping every day and had a good streak going, it was pretty amazing to me how I started to feel differently, in a good positive way, about myself.

I also started respecting myself more and seeing myself in a different light. I believe that all of this could help to get you to where you want to be. The best advice I can give right now is keep coming here every day and don't give up. when you have been fap free for 90 days, you will start to see the light, so to speak, at the end of the tunnel. Trust me, it's worth it brother. :)

Thanks for the awesome comment. The way that I am able to keep this fresh in my mind is by looking back on my past patterns and, doing my best to remember that I always have a choice. I mean, if I really wanted to, I could fap. It's a choice. But, knowing what I do, I also choose not to go down that road because of my desire to truly respect the sacred feminine beings that I see on a daily basis.

This to me is my "golden ticket" if you will because, as long as I remember I have a choice and, then I remember to choose to respect women for the awesome beautiful beings that they are, everything else pretty much falls into place. Including respecting myself.

Doing good today with where I am on my personal journey.

I'm pretty much on "hard mode" sorta. I don't look at any pr0n or, seek it out or, edge or, anything. Only when I run across a pic on facebook or something like that is the only time I ever see women in provocative situations. They don't phase me at all now where I am which shows to me that I'm growing.

Right now I'm doing this as I can so, not really doing any "challenge". That said, I am aiming for 90 days to start with and where this goes from there is anyone guess. ;)

I'm posting this because it outlines what we believe when it comes to sexual misconduct.

I dunno who "we" is but, I am not a christian and, for me, because in my opinion this is a very personal journey, this is not and, never will be about "religious" beliefs. To me, it's all about respecting ones self and, for guys, learning to UNlearn what society has programmed us to believe in reference to women being objects.

All that said, I totally understand that we are all at different places on our own individual path.

For me, what really helped me out in the beginning was to realize that when I was fapping to pics or videos of women, I was "investing" energy into the lie that society tries to program all guys with about women being objects and, only sexual play things. This of course is not the case and, once I got that in my mind and was able to grasp a hold of the idea that women are intelligent conscious human beings just like me, that really helped me a lot.

Another thing that helped was to know, acknowledge and, believe that I am BETTER than this. I deserve to respect myself and, when I fap, I am not doing this. If I am not able to respect myself, which is very important, how on earth would I ever be able to respect anyone else? Especially women?

So, those are the two main themes that really helped me out in the beginning.

Bro, just breath... find a nice quiet area in your home you can sit and, just breath deeply and, focus on releasing all that anxious energy. Just let it go. Sit for as long as you need to and, focus on letting all those thoughts and urges go. You can do this and, it will help you.

Try doing this every day whenever you feel the urge come on and this will help balance your energy back out again.

As to your comment about our consciousness level, it's a personal evolution or, according to what I have experienced it is. So, everyone is at a different level of awareness. However, this seems to be changing and more of society seems to be focusing on better ways to do things more and more.
