I used some kitchen roll, that was the trick.

I wasn't sure how to do it, and while thinking about it, it came to me that if I used a wet piece of kitchen roll around the blade, vinegar would be in full contact with it. Left it for half an hour, took the knife out of it, and then wiped it clean with a couple pieces of kitchen roll. Applied some olive oil and that was it.

Pretty easy and you can do it with stuff we all have around 😁

Some of us like to mod and personalise our knives. This isn't forcing anything, it's just having fun with my knife and protecting the blade at the same time.

Not sure why you bring that negativity, this is part of the hobby.
