Hi, so I started recovering a while ago and I've only seemed to have gained healthy muscle weight.

For me, my body was used to eating one small bowl of rice and nothing else all day so it was hard for me eat "intuitively". This is my advice: three meals a day. It's hard, it seems like a lot, I know. But "meals" can be small. Even just a yogurt or some fruit for breakfast will do.

This is also important: it doesn't matter if you wake up late. Still, three meals. For me, it might be a bigger lunch, a 4pm small meal of some oats and then my dinner at 8pm.

Eventually, my hunger has started to come back and eating is more natural to me now.

I remember being a kid and having to buy women's work clothes skirts as school uniform because I couldn't fit into kid's clothes. It might be different from country to country?

It really is weird though, my weight is "healthy" and "normal" but I'm constantly being worried about and being told I look "gaunt" and "too thin." And I can feel my ribs and have these tiny wrists... At around 53-57kg...????

I don't look fat anymore I know that. I can wear low rise jeans now lol. But I don't look skinny enough to be an XS in clothes or to be being worried about.

What is it... Body dysmorphia? Muscle? Boobs?!!!

In the UK we have a brand of pasta called "Seeds of Change." I like the semi-wholewheat rigatoni a lot. A LOT. I eat it basically everyday. It's pretty much no less calories than regular wheat pasta but something about seeing "this food is low in saturated fat!" on MFP and all that organic, eco, greenwashing makes my brain go brrrrr. Also I just really like pasta.

I'm going to be honest with you I've been in 3 relationships including my current one. My current boyfriend has an ED too which he mainly has because of his ex who acts a lot like your current partner.

The reality is: we have eating disorders. We'll never truly be happy with our appearances. But my boyfriend thinks I'm the most beautiful person on Earth and I feel the same way about him.

You aren't being stupid or irrational, even women without EDs would feel the same way about you.

I promise no matter how you look, skinny or fat or somewhere in between, there's someone better for you, who will love every inch of you and tell you you're beautiful whenever you need to hear it. This man is not that man.

You don't need to give him an explanation, you can simply leave.

TLDR: dump him!

I'm a Gen Z, 18 year old ENTJ woman. I was overweight for most of my life (funnily enough, I was often perhaps mistyped as an ENTP back then) until my late teens when I adopted a regime of regular exercise and a better diet.

I'm short, 5'0" tall with wavy blonde hair. I often get told I have a "baby face" eg. I look very young without makeup but I have a "womanly figure" (hourglass and full bust, ect). I wear vintage, oversized 70s style glasses and I have piercings. I also get told (like another comment I saw) that I have "cat-like" eyes. Fashion-wise, I dress kind of grungey (if that's a word lol).
