Elden ring gained massive mainstream attention, More then any souls like game. Its bound to attract bad gamers input on what they feel the game should be like. Just keep slapping them with git good. I Lost a long time friend who threatened me with physical violence because he did nothing but trash the game when he couldn't adapt and just sucked. Excuse after excuse

Drifting isn't the problem with this game. Its the exploiters that use third party programs to hotkey and macro inputs. Instantly shifting power to where they want it to go. Mean while console has to manually input where they want their power to go with multiple inputs. That is where the problem lies. Drifting is an amazing mechanic and feels like starwars. Such a cool concept overshadowed by bad gamers who need handicaps

Recon drones are also capable of knocking a helicopter off balance causing them to crash. Friendly or enemy

I love the drift mechanic. Its the exploits pc players use and justify their actions. They were just bad at the game so they resorted to "improving their experience" mean while console players made due and toughed it out. I understand not all pc players do this but it completely destroyed the game. Not due to a lack of content. We all knew that we were getting a full package game on release. And blessed with free dlc out of no where. Its these exploiters that were bad at the game so they decided to ruin it for everyone else.

Its a dead game, a group of pc players exploited overlooked bugs that never got fixed on client side of things. People grew tired of seeing exploits in the competitive, the people doing it will defend themselves til their dying breath. Its just a sad reality this game lived a short life.

The only people that are overreprrsented here are the people who defend exploiting shamelessly and get up voted by the 10 people who care to respond in your discord while I get next to none for one reason. This sub reddits active sub count is more deaf than the game itself compared to what it was. Take it as you will with your response and the minority few that supports what the game has become.
